A morbid blend of roots, reggae and folk, wound together with captivating hooks, solid grooves and haunting harmonies. Sydney artists black bird hum announced themselves to the world with their deadly debut album “In Time” - a record that swung from gentle, ghostly ballads to the type of big‐band reggae that throws everything at you from ghoulish horns to percussion to skeletal synths and delay‐drenched keys.

As well as supporting Arrested Development (USA) the band have shared the stage with the likes of Melbourne Ska Orchestra, Collie Buddz (USA), Kingfisha, Six60 (NZ), King Tide and The Strides; dismembering fans from Sydney to Byron Bay and back. The last few years has also included a run of murderous festival performances that includes back‐to‐back Peats Ridge Festivals and FBi Radio's Reggae Carnival.
